  The food is very good and filling. The woman inside was also very friendly. and I got snapper, shrimp, bread, and fries. The snapper was like a breaded fish steak, very hearty and filling. The shrimp was a little on the tough side, but the flavor made up for it. The bread was put under the snapper and shrimp, so it absorbed a good amount of seasoning which complimented it very well. The fries are a bit on the thick side, but had a good texture and a great flavor. Shrimp house also sells some grocery type items such as vegetables, milk, eggs, pop, and chips. This gave the restaurant a feeling of authenticity. It wasn't very Americanized at all, which gives it a really unique vibe that few restaurants around Ohio have.There were also things that are hard to find in Ohio on the menu such as conch, grouper, and snapper. Overall, friendly employees, reasonable prices, unique and tasty food, and authentic vibes. The only downsides are that the food takes a bit long, and the part of Springfield it's in is a bit on the sketchy side.
